About the Extract

Developed as part of Ratèl Herbals, an artistic exploration by Delta van Melle into living systems, fungal biology, and extraction chemistry. Hericium erinaceus (Lion’s Mane) is an edible mushroom traditionally valued in Eastern botanical practices for its unique bioactive profile.

To capture the full spectrum of water- and alcohol-soluble constituents, our fruiting bodies undergo a meticulous 3 to 6-stage process combining ultrasonic-assisted extraction, thermal Soxhlet extraction and pressurized hot water extraction.

Water, Grain Alcohol, 100% Locally Grown Lion’s Mane Fruiting Body Extract (Hericium erinaceus).

Alcohol Content: 20% vol

Extract ratio 1:2 – every 1 kg of fruiting body makes 2 litres of extract.

Ratèl Ritual (Suggested Use)

Shake well before use. Take max 2–4 full pipettes daily mixed into a beverage, water, or directly under the tongue. Consistent daily use as part of a routine is recommended.
