Reishi Extract – NIGHT
Night – Reishi Liquid Botanical Extract
A small-batch, concentrated extract of Ganoderma lucidum fruiting bodies, prepared using an artisanal multi-stage extraction process.
About the Extract
Developed as part of Ratèl Herbals, an artistic exploration by Delta van Melle into living systems, fungal biology, and extraction chemistry. Known in Eastern botanical practices as Lingzhi, Ganoderma lucidum is one of the most historically documented fungi, revered for over two millennia for its complex profile of triterpenes and polysaccharides.
To capture the full spectrum of water- and alcohol-soluble constituents, our fruiting bodies undergo a meticulous multi-stage extraction. An ultrasonic assisted ethanol fraction isolates the hydrophobic triterpenoids and ganoderic acids, while pressurized hot water extraction draws out the water-soluble beta-glucans. Both fractions are then reduced and unified into a single dense, full-spectrum liquid.
